The upturn was supported by gains across most components. Expectations for the general economic situation over the next 12 months strengthened to -31, compared with -37 in May, and unemployment expectations eased slightly to 13 from 14, pointing to a marginally better outlook for the labor market. Views on households’ financial situation also improved, with the corresponding indicator rising to -2 from -4. At the same time, the saving capacity index increased to 19 from 14, indicating that households anticipate building up more savings even as overall sentiment remains cautious.
