FX.co ★ Italy Construction Output Rises 2.9% in May

Italy’s construction output increased by 2.9% year-on-year in May 2026, slowing from a revised 3.2% gain in April. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, output was flat, halting the growth seen in the previous two months (+1.9% in March and +0.8% in April). Over the three months from March to May, construction production was up 2.0% compared with the preceding three-month period. In the first five months of 2026, calendar-adjusted construction output rose by 2.0%.
