FX.co ★ Cyprus Wage Growth Weakest Since 2021

Average gross monthly earnings of employees in Cyprus rose by 3.7% year-on-year to EUR 2,601 in the first quarter of 2026, slowing from a 4.4% increase in the previous quarter. This was the weakest pace of wage growth since the third quarter of 2021. Earnings for men increased by 3.3% to EUR 2,776, up from EUR 2,687 in Q1 2025, while earnings for women grew by 4.2% to EUR 2,378, compared with EUR 2,282 a year earlier. On a seasonally adjusted quarter-on-quarter basis, average gross monthly earnings rose by 0.8% to EUR 2,652.
