Thailand’s Manufacturing Momentum Builds as July PMI Climbs to 54.2

Thailand’s manufacturing sector strengthened in July 2026, with the Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) edging up to 54.20 from 53.60 in June, according to the latest data updated on 3 August 2026. The rise signals a further acceleration in expansion, as readings above 50 indicate improving business conditions in the manufacturing economy.

On a month-over-month basis, July’s increase builds on June’s already solid performance, when the index stood at 53.60. The comparison framework shows that the “Actual” figure for July reflects the change versus June, while the “Previous” refers to June’s change against May, highlighting a sustained upward trajectory across consecutive months.

The continued improvement in Thailand’s PMI suggests robust underlying demand and potentially stronger production activity, reinforcing signs of resilience in the country’s industrial sector midway through 2026.
