The DAX 40 notched a fourth straight session of gains on Tuesday, advancing 0.8% to a new record high above 26,200. Investors continued to focus on the ongoing earnings season, while also monitoring developments in the Middle East and assessing mixed signals from Washington and Tehran regarding the prospects for peace talks.

Among the notable movers, Bayer climbed more than 4% after beating second-quarter estimates and reaffirming its 2026 sales outlook. In contrast, Zalando slumped over 17% after the online fashion retailer cut its full-year sales outlook to the lower end of its previous guidance range, even though it reported better-than-expected Q2 net income, supported by the integration of ABOUT YOU.

Lufthansa fell 4% after posting weaker-than-expected profits and trimming its guidance, while Hugo Boss also came under pressure following sharp declines in both sales and EBIT.
