FX.co ★ Croatia Trade Deficit Narrows in June

Croatia’s trade deficit narrowed to EUR 1.71 billion in June 2026, down from EUR 1.81 billion in the same month a year earlier. Exports rose by 7.7% year-on-year to EUR 2.26 billion, while imports increased by 1.9% to EUR 3.98 billion.

Over the first half of 2026, the trade gap declined to EUR 10.31 billion from EUR 10.42 billion in the corresponding period of the previous year. Exports expanded by 10.8% to EUR 13.70 billion, supported by stronger shipments to both EU markets (up 14.1%) and non-EU destinations (up 3.9%). At the same time, imports grew by 4.8% to EUR 23.89 billion, largely reflecting increased purchases from EU countries (up 3.8%) and non-EU markets (up 8.4%).
