Denmark Trade Surplus Widens in June

Denmark’s seasonally adjusted trade surplus widened to DKK 28.7 billion in June 2026, up from a downwardly revised DKK 25.8 billion in May, marking the highest level in three months. Exports rose 0.9% month-on-month to DKK 193.5 billion, supported by a 1.7% increase in services exports to DKK 81.0 billion and a 0.4% gain in goods exports to DKK 112.5 billion. Meanwhile, imports declined by 0.7% to DKK 164.8 billion, reflecting a 0.5% drop in goods imports and a 0.8% decrease in services imports. In the second quarter of 2026, total exports grew by 5.7%, while imports rose by 6.9%. Over the first half of 2026, Denmark posted a trade surplus of DKK 163.2 billion, up from DKK 154.4 billion in the same period of 2025.
