FX.co ★ Kosovo Annual Inflation Rises in July

Kosovo's annual inflation rate accelerated to 6.5% in July 2026, up from 6% in June. The main upward pressure came from transport costs, which surged 17.8% year-on-year after a 13.7% increase in the previous month. Inflation also picked up for alcoholic beverages, tobacco and narcotics (5.3% vs 5.1%), restaurants and hotels (5.3% vs 4.5%), clothing and footwear (2.8% vs 2.3%), and recreation, sports and culture (2.3% vs 2%). Meanwhile, inflation for housing and utilities remained elevated at 11.1%.

By contrast, inflation eased for food (2.7% vs 3.9%), furnishings (2.5% vs 3%), and health (4% vs 4.1%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.6%, rebounding from a 0.1% decline in the previous month.
