Kyrgyzstan Industrial Output Growth Rises to 6.3%

Industrial production in Kyrgyzstan grew by 6.3% year-on-year in July 2026, accelerating from 5.0% in June. The overall improvement was driven by a sharp rebound in mining and quarrying, where output jumped 38.5% after a 13.8% decline the previous month. Production also continued to rise in electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply (4.7% vs 2.3% in June), as well as in water supply, waste treatment, and the recovery of secondary raw materials (20.3% vs 19.7%).

By contrast, manufacturing growth slowed markedly to 0.4% from 9.6% in June. The deceleration was largely due to steep contractions in several segments: wood, paper products, and printing (-29.2% vs a 92.3% surge previously), pharmaceutical products (-75.9% vs 96.0%), and other production, repair, and installation of machinery and equipment (-13.8% vs 11.6%).

Over the first seven months of the year (January–July), industrial output increased by 11.2%, down from 12.6% in the same period a year earlier.
