Poland’s annual producer inflation accelerated to 2.8% in July 2026, up from an upwardly revised 1.9% in June and above market expectations of 2.3%. This was the fifth consecutive month of producer price growth and the highest rate since May 2023. The increase was mainly driven by higher prices in mining and quarrying (3.8% vs 2.2% in June), manufacturing (3.2% vs 2.1%), and water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities (2.3% vs 2.1%). In contrast, prices for electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply declined by 0.8%, after rising 0.8% in the previous month. On a monthly basis, producer prices rose 0.6% in July, following a revised 0.1% increase in June.
