FX.co ★ Luxembourg Unemployment Rate Unchanged at 6.3%

Luxembourg’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate held steady at 6.3% in July 2026, unchanged from June. The number of unemployed persons fell by 166 over the month, to 20,399.

Total employment increased by 447, reaching 304,555. The active labor force among Luxembourg nationals grew by 281 to 324,954, while the number of resident job seekers rose by 966 to 532,403.

Cross-border employment also expanded. The number of outgoing resident workers increased by 27 to 15,347, and incoming cross-border workers rose by 518 to 235,774.

A year earlier, in July 2025, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 5.9%.
