FX.co ★ Argentina Economic Activity Growth Accelerates in June

Argentina’s economic activity expanded by 2.7% year-on-year in June 2026, accelerating from an upwardly revised 0.4% increase in May. Growth was broad-based, with 12 of the 15 sectors surveyed posting annual gains. The strongest performances came from fishing (+247.6%) and mining and quarrying (+15.6%), while agriculture, livestock, hunting and forestry also advanced 4.6%.

By contrast, activity declined in administration and defense and compulsory social security (-1.5%), utilities (-0.4%), and education (-0.1%). On a month-on-month basis, the Monthly Economic Activity Estimate rose 0.8%.
