Lithuania Industrial Output Growth Slows in July

Industrial production in Lithuania rose by 3.3% year-on-year in July 2026, easing from a slightly upwardly revised 9.9% increase in June. The slowdown in overall industrial activity was mainly driven by weaker performance in mining and quarrying, where output fell by 1.6% following a sharp 16.1% surge in the previous month. Output also declined in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (-4.1% vs -3.6% in June) and in water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities (-12.1% vs -7.7%). At the same time, manufacturing output continued to grow but at a more moderate pace, rising 3.6% after a 10.4% gain in June. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial production fell by 2.4% in July, following a downwardly revised 1.8% increase in the prior month.
