FX.co ★ Danish Jobless Rate Steady at 2.7% in July

Denmark’s unemployment rate was 2.7% in July 2026, unchanged for the sixth consecutive month and remaining at its highest level since September 2021. The number of unemployed increased slightly, by 0.1 thousand from the previous month, to 82.1 thousand full-time workers. The unemployment rate for men held at 3.0%, while the rate for women was stable at 3.1%. Rates were also unchanged across all age groups, remaining lowest among 16–24-year-olds at 1.6% and highest among those aged 25–29 at 4.9%. At the same time, the number of unemployed people receiving unemployment benefits rose by 0.2 thousand to 78.4 thousand, while the number on cash assistance declined by 0.1 thousand to 15.2 thousand.
