Spain welcomed 11.539 million international tourists in July 2026, a 4.6% increase compared with July 2025 and a new record for that month. The United Kingdom remained the leading source market, with almost 2.2 million visitors in July, up 5.6% year-on-year. France and Germany followed, contributing nearly 1.6 million and 1.2 million tourists, respectively, with both markets growing by 2.3% compared with July 2025.
The Balearic Islands were the top destination, receiving 22.3% of all international tourists, a 0.1 percentage-point increase from July 2025. Catalonia ranked second with a 20.6% share, up 0.8 points, while Andalusia accounted for 14.6% and posted the strongest growth, at 9.5%. Over the first seven months of 2026, the number of tourists visiting Spain rose by 4.6%, surpassing 58.1 million.
