US Futures Flat After Positive Session

US stock futures were little changed on Thursday after the major averages advanced in the previous session, breaking a three-day losing streak. On Wednesday, the Dow rose 0.56%, the S&P 500 gained 0.46% and the Nasdaq Composite added 0.45%. Ten of the 11 S&P 500 sectors finished higher, led by materials, communication services and health care.

The rebound came as the recent surge in oil prices and bond yields—factors that had weighed on equities earlier in the week—showed signs of easing.

In corporate news, Broadcom slipped about 1% after issuing a lower-than-expected revenue forecast for Q4, while Hewlett Packard Enterprise dropped more than 5% despite topping Q3 earnings and revenue estimates. By contrast, Snowflake jumped 23% after the software company handily beat expectations, supported by growing adoption of its AI offerings.

Investors now turn their attention to another round of earnings due Thursday from Ciena, Zscaler, DocuSign and others.
