Colombia’s exports increased 5.9% year-on-year to USD 4.69 billion in July 2026, slowing for the second consecutive month after a 7% rise in June and marking the weakest growth rate since the start of the year. The overall expansion was driven by an 8.3% increase in exports of fuels and extractive industries, which accounted for 40% of total shipments. This performance was supported by a 13.8% rise in oil and petroleum product exports, while crude oil export volumes grew 3.1% to 13.4 million barrels. In contrast, manufacturing exports fell 7.1%, weighed down by lower shipments of chemicals and related products (-12.4%) and manufactured goods classified chiefly by material (-6.0%). Agricultural and food exports, which made up 26.4% of total exports, slipped 0.8%.
