FX.co ★ Dutch Manufacturing Output Rebounds in July

Manufacturing output in the Netherlands increased by 1.6% month-on-month in July 2026, reversing a revised 1.0% decline in June. The rebound was driven by stronger production in machinery (6.6% vs. -3.1%), leather and footwear (7.2% vs. -3.7%), paper (6.4% vs. 4.4%), chemical products (2.3% vs. 0.7%), food (1.9% vs. -3.2%) and metal products (1.6% vs. -0.6%).

These gains were partially offset by lower output in wood (-9.4% vs. 0.4%), automotive and trailers (-7.2% vs. 0.3%), repair and installation of machinery (-6.4% vs. 0.1%), electrical equipment (-4.7% vs. -2.0%) and other transport equipment (-4.5% vs. 0.3%). Production also fell in textiles (-2.1% vs. -1.2%), rubber and plastics (-2.8% vs. -0.4%) and basic metals (-3.2% vs. 0.4%).
