Eurozone manufacturing activity showed a marginal improvement in September, according to the latest HCOB Eurozone Manufacturing PMI data. The index edged up to 52.9 in September 2026, compared with a previous reading of 52.7, also recorded in September 2026.

While the increase of 0.2 points is modest, the PMI level above the 50 threshold signals that the region’s manufacturing sector remains in expansionary territory. The updated figures, released on 01 October 2026, suggest a slight strengthening in industrial momentum across the Eurozone, indicating that factory output and conditions have continued to improve, albeit at a measured pace.
