FX.co ★ Colombia’s Unemployment Rate Falls in September

Colombia’s national unemployment rate dropped to 8% in September 2026, down from 9.4% in August. In the 13 main cities and metropolitan areas, unemployment was 8.3%. Nationally, the labor force participation rate registered 63.8%, while the employment rate reached 58.7%. Over the July–September 2026 quarter, the unemployment rate averaged 8.5%, unchanged from the same period in 2025.
