FX.co ★ Terrorists attack Bacha Khan University in Pakistan

Islamic militants stormed the university campus in Pakistan’s volatile north-west province and shot dead at least 20 students and teachers. The Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack, according to reports. Police put the initial death toll at 21.

It is also known that there were about three thousand people in the university when the explosions occurred. Witnesses said that they heard two blasts. On the photo: evacuation of victims after the shooting.

The assault occurred hours before the university was to host a poetry recital to which hundreds had been invited.

Immediately after the incident, the rescue team arrived to the scene of attack. All people were evacuated.

Officials said that they had killed four gunmen but several others were believed to be on the loose as about 10 attackers were reported to have stormed the campus.
