FX.co ★ Reunification of Crimea with Russia: two years later

The citizens of Crimea voted for uniting of the peninsula with Russia on the referendum two years ago.

On the photo there is the parade in honor of the reunification of Crimea with Russia which took place in Simferopol on March 16.

Local authorities participated in the parade; in particular, the Presidential representative to the Crimea Federal district and Prime Minister of Crimea were in procession.

Militiamen and the Cossacks members were in the procession along with ordinary citizens and politicians. A brass band maintained a festive mood.

The event finished on the square near the Crimea Parliament. A few thousand people participated in the parade, the peninsula authorities reported.
