The European Football Championship is due to start in France on June 10, Friday. However, the country is not quite ready to host this event as rubbish is piled up in the Paris streets as a result of the refuse collectors' strike.

Workers from the major rubbish recycling plants located in Ibri, Saint-Ouen and Romainville are involved in the protests. The citizens voice a complaint about the labor reform in such a way.

The French authorities ask the citizens not to leave rubbish bins in the streets. They have announced that it will be problematic to collect rubbish from the streets in the coming days.

Let us recall that the French people have been demonstrating against the labor reform for a few months . The reform calls for easing the dismissal procedure and a gradual increase of the 35-hour working week.
