Trump vows to recoup US costs from Iran war

According to US President Donald Trump, the United States will recoup all financial expenditures related to the military conflict with Iran multiple times over. While speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, the president emphasized that Washington expects to profit from operations in the Middle East, similar to the scenario in Venezuela.

The American leader stated that the United States is reaping “billions and billions of dollars” from Venezuelan resources, and these funds will be allocated for government operations or military needs, pending approval from Congress. Meanwhile, Trump criticized lawmakers for their reluctance to approve defense spending bills and noted that the financial costs associated with Iran’s actions are planned to be fully offset by resources from Tehran itself.

At the same time, the president pointed to a high likelihood of reaching an agreement with Iran. He noted that “very good negotiations” are already underway between the parties, and that the US administration has ample time to finalize the resolution regarding Iran.
