Crude oil prices post biggest gains since 2009

Since August 27, Brent and WTI futures showed the highest rise in the recent six years.
At the International Currency Exchange (ICE), Brent futures for October delivery were up 5.3% to $50 a barrel. At the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), WTI futures contracts for October delivery grew in price by 6.6% to $45 a barrel.
So on Friday, the crude market showed a sharp increase in the quotes for the second day following the Thursday jump of 10%.
As a result of the previous week, Brent crude added 10.2% in price, while WTI oil price advanced by 11.8%. This is the highest weekly jump in the black gold quotes since March 2009.
