According to Forbes, embalmer, hot dog vendor, and live mannequin are in the list of the most uncommon but surprisingly well-paid jobs in the U.S. The full list was published on the corresponding web site.
Forbes estimates an embalmer’s pay at about $44,000 a year. A hot dog vendor can make a profit of $30,000 to $100,000 annually. A live mannequin or human statue earns up to $100 an hour.
The other jobs enumerated in the list are ice cream taster with an annual salary of $56,000, funeral service manager with about $80,000 a year, personal shopper with average annual income from $25,000 to $100,000, and cruise ship entertainer earning $3,000-$4,500 a month, plus room and board.

They include a pet psychologist and garbage collector, with a salary of $100,000 a year, a cook on a submarine earning up to $200,000 per year, and a sommelier making between $80,000 and $160,000 annually.
