One of the most popular Soviet brands may soon get a status of the national one. The Russian government is planning to bring out food products under the trade name Kremlin Quality. Chief of the Presidential Property Management Department of the Russian Federation Vladimir Kozhin said that at first, only meat and dairy products, which are produced by subordinate agricultural enterprises, will carry the Kremlin brand name. Previously, agro-industrial complex Nepetsino has been providing the viands to the president's and both Houses of Parliament's tables for more than 70 years. The official supplier of the president's residence has been always famous for its products of very high quality. The Presidential Property Management Department has already registered 32 trademarks for this project such as Kremlyovskaya, Kremlin Quality, Kremlin award, and Kremlin Bear candy. The patent was given to the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Kremlevskiy trading house. Due to the increase in the production volume, the Nepetsino board is going to open a new facility. Besides, the other Russian concerns producing the high standard food may also receive the Kremlin quality mark.
