In light of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, US President Donald Trump has decided to sign an executive order to suspend immigration into the United States. Notably, much of the immigration flow into the country has already been canceled during the coronavirus pandemic. However, Trump did not provide any comments on how long this moratorium on migration would last. On the other hand, despite all the criticism, the US President's attempt to protect the labor market appears to be very brave. However, Democrats called the proposed ban xenophobic and un-American. They accused Trump of using the pandemic as a cover for his hard-line immigration policy.
