US president threatens new tariffs on China

Most countries suppose that China’s attitude to other countries is completely wrong. The situation escalates by the fact that China denies its responsibility for the coronavirus pandemic. That is why governments of many countries are beginning to take a re-look at their relations with this country. Notably, there are such facts about China that are known worldwide. For example, all countries are aware that China regularly publishes stronger figures on its economic indicators than they really are. Besides, the Chinese authorities manipulate foreign exchange rates and do not comply with international law. However, the coronavirus pandemic has caused extremely high indignation. The Chinese authorities did not inform other governments about the impending global danger. Moreover, they are still denying their mistakes. Thus, most countries are planning to make claims against China and even punish it. The US, for example, is developing a list of additional tariffs on Chinese goods. "Personally, I think they made a horrible mistake, and they didn't want to admit it. We wanted to go in, but they didn't want us there. Even World Health wanted to go in - they were admitted but much later, not immediately. They made a mistake, they tried to cover it, like a fire," US President Donald Trump said. The EU is also not going to stand aside. It intends to demand monetary compensation from China and reconsider its attitude to the country as a trading partner.
