The coronavirus pandemic has caused yet another synergy of the world’s population. In terms of the number of participating countries, the new partnership will probably be able to compete with the UN.

Representatives from different countries join the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI). The first summit of the organization was held online under the chairmanship of the United Kingdom represented by Prime Minister Boris Johnson. The main issue of the meeting was mass vaccination. The сountries discussed not only the coronavirus, but also global vaccination which was necessary to develop immunity to many diseases. According to participants of the summit, the immediate intervention and a collective approach can save about 80 million children in many countries around the world.

Bill Gates, the main vaccinator of the planet, also attended the event. Recently, he has become the hero of the conspiracy theories about the pandemic, vaccination, and 5G towers. The founder of Microsoft delivered a brief statement and donated $1.6 billion to GAVI. In total, some $8.8 billion was raised. Mikhail Murashko, the Head of the Ministry of Health, represented Russia at the meeting. He welcomed the GAVI initiative and noted that Russia continued planned vaccination even under the current conditions ensuring immunization of 96% of newborns and children.
