FX.co ★ Larichev joins Acronis as president

Yury Larichev is appointed as the president of Acronis, the global leader in new generation data protection.
As lenta.ru says, Acronis has not had this position before, but now there is a need to withdraw some operational duties from the company’s founder Sergey Belousov.
Belousov said that it will help him to focus on strategic development of Acronis products and his work in Runa Capital investment fund.
Larichev was a Director General at Acumatica in 2012-2014. Before that, he had held different positions at Microsoft in 2006-2012, including the Director of Small Midmarket & Partners Group at Microsoft Russia. A new headquarters of Acronis are located in Singapore.
The aim of the new office is to capitalize on the Asia Pacific and Japan markets. Laurent Dedenis will lead this office as the newly appointed president of international operations.
Acronis has an office in the United States, but the main office for development is located in Russia.
Ezequiel Steiner, current general manager of Acronis’ mobility business unit, is adding senior vice president of business development, legal and corporate development to his responsibilities.
In this role, he will focus on strategic partnerships and identifying potential acquisitions and the legal process associated with them.
