One of the largest insurance companies in the world - Swiss Zurich Insurance- refused to use the letter Z in its logo so as not to be misinterpreted. The Z symbol is now used in Russia in support of a special operation to protect Donbas.

Notably, the company has been exploiting this symbol, Z on a blue background, since the moment of its foundation. The logo is used in the printing design, as well as on the official website, and on all social networks.

"We are temporarily removing the use of the letter 'Z' from social channels where it appears in isolation and could be misinterpreted. We're monitoring the situation closely and will take further actions if and when required," the company noted.

With approximately 56,000 employees, Zurich provides a wide array of services for individuals, small and medium-sized businesses, and multinational corporations. It operates in more than 210 countries and territories.
