EU adopts 13th package of anti-Russian sanctions

According to Reuters, EU countries have approved the 13th package of sanctions against Russia. On Wednesday, February 21, the EU ambassadors reportedly agreed on the 13th package of anti-Russian sanctions. According to sources familiar with the matter, about 200 legal entities and individuals have been added to the sanctions list. Meanwhile, no new sectoral restrictions were introduced. On Monday, February 19, Annalena Baerbock, the head of the German Foreign Ministry, said that the new package of EU sanctions deepened actions to stop Russia from acquiring technology related to unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The leaders of the EU states agreed upon this matter. Earlier, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said that the country would not obstruct the EU package approval of anti-Russian sanctions. According to the official, all elements of the sanctions that harmed Hungarian interests were removed from the package.
