FX.co ★ Pound Retreats Following U.K. CPI, PPI

At 2.00 am ET Wednesday, the Office for National Statistics has released UK consumer and producer prices for April. The pound retreated against its major counterparts after the data.

The pound was trading at 161.16 against the yen, 1.2485 against the franc, 0.8439 against the euro and 1.2409 against the greenback around 2:02 am ET.
