FX.co ★ Pound Climbs Against Majors

The pound appreciated against its major counterparts in European deals on Monday.

The pound touched 4-day highs of 1.1398 against the greenback and 167.64 against the yen, off its prior lows of 1.1290 and 165.93, respectively.

The pound edged up to 1.1336 against the franc, from a low of 1.1256 hit at 2:35 am ET.

The pound climbed to 0.8741 against the euro, after dropping to near a 4-week low of 0.8791 at 2:40 am ET.

The pound may challenge resistance around 1.27 against the greenback, 172.00 against the yen, 1.20 against the franc and 0.84 against the euro.
