FX.co ★ Pound Rises Following U.K. CPI, PPI

At 3.00 am ET Wednesday, the Office for National Statistics has released UK consumer and producer prices for February. The pound rose against its major counterparts after the data.

The pound was trading at 161.97 against the yen, 1.2246 against the greenback, 0.8790 against the euro and 1.1295 against the franc around 3:02 am ET.
