Mondelez International Inc. (MDLZ) announced increased earnings for its fourth quarter compared to the same period last year. The company's total earnings were $950 million, equating to $0.70 per share. This is a significant increase when compared to $583 million, or $0.42 per share, from the previous year's fourth quarter.

After adjusting for certain items, Mondelez International Inc. posted adjusted earnings of $1.15 billion or $0.84 per share for the quarter.

The company's revenue for the quarter also increased by 7.1%, rising to $9.31 billion from the $8.69 billion recorded last year.
