Google's Bard Now Features AI Image Generation

Alphabet Inc.'s Google recently introduced a new feature in its Bard chatbot, ImageFX, which leverages AI for text-to-image generation.

This innovative feature can be accessed via Google's AI Test Kitchen, a developmental stage platform designed to allow user interaction with ongoing Google projects.

Although it's still in the nascent stages, ImageFX promises photorealism, controlled generation from unique seeds, and precision in interpretation. This tool provides users with the ability to fine-tune their creative endeavors, making adjustments to the initial noise setting.

The advanced AI model called Image 2, devised by Google's AI lab DeepMind, powers this image generation feature. It is configured to interpret and bring textual prompts to life visually, demonstrating great adaptability in producing various images and styles.

To avert misuse, Alphabet Inc. declared that every photograph created with ImageFX will bear a SynthID mark, ensuring that it adheres to Google's AI principles and technical regulations.

Currently, ImageFX will be accessible only to users based in the U.S., Kenya, New Zealand, and Australia.
