Australia Producer Price Data Due On Friday

On Friday, Australia will release its fourth quarter producer prices, marking a relatively calm day for economic activity in the Asia-Pacific region. The previous quarter showed a 1.8 percent increase in producer prices, and a yearly increase of 3.8 percent.

Additionally, Australia will disclose the figures for home loans in December. In the preceding month, loans had increased by 0.5 percent, while investment lending had seen a rise of 1.9 percent.

Meanwhile, Japan is expected to unveil monetary base data for January, with predictions indicating an annual increase of 7.5 percent, a slight decrease from December's 7.9 percent.

South Korea is also due to release its January figures for consumer prices. Anticipations suggest a monthly increase of 0.4 percent and an annual rise of 2.9 percent, a slight drop from the flat monthly reading and the 3.2 percent annual increase observed in December.
