Whole Earth Brands Inc., also known as FREE, announced their intentions to finalize a definitive acquisition agreement with Ozark Holdings. Ozark Holdings, which is an affiliate of Sababa Holdings FREE, plans to acquire all outstanding shares of Whole Earth Brands' common stock that it does not already possess. The acquisition value is set to $4.875 per share and will be an all-cash transaction. This decision was unanimously endorsed by the special board committee. Upon finalization of the agreement, Whole Earth Brands' common stock will cease its listing on the NASDAQ Stock Market.

In addition, Whole Earth Brands projects to publicize its standard financial results for the fourth quarter, along with the full fiscal year concluded on December 31, 2023, this is expected to occur in March 2024.
