On Wednesday, New Zealand is slated to publish its January statistics for electronic card retail sales, signifying a rather uneventful day in terms of Asia-Pacific economic activities.

Previously in December, there was a drop in card sales by 2.0 percent on a monthly basis and a decrease of 0.6 percent year-on-year.

Lastly, the markets in both Taiwan and China are still on a break due to the Lunar New Year holiday.
