DAX Little Changed Ahead Of Lagarde's Remarks

On Monday, German stocks remained relatively stable as investors eagerly anticipated the release of pivotal inflation data from the eurozone this week, which could provide essential insight on pending interest rate cuts.

The day's trading sentiment could be influenced further by both ECB President Lagarde's upcoming speech and newly published housing sector data from the U.S. The DAX, a key benchmark index, experienced a minor increase, settling at 17,420 after closing 0.3 percent higher on Friday.

Ahead of Lagarde's speech, the euro made slight gains against a collection of its major counterparts. Meanwhile, Encavis AG, an electric services company, saw a drop of half a percent. This comes after the company announced the expansion of its Spanish solar park portfolio, adding two more solar parks in Andalucia. However, the financial specifics of the acquisition remain undisclosed.
