FX.co ★ Travelzoo Q4 Net Income From Cont. Ops. Rises; Revenue Up 14%

Travelzoo has reported a net income of $3.3 million or $0.24 per share for its fourth quarter, a marked improvement compared to the net income of $2.5 million or $0.20 per share reported in the same period the previous year. This exceeded the profit per share of $0.23 expected by analysts from Thomson Reuters. Typically, these estimates do not account for special items.

Revenue for this quarter was about $21.1 million, a 14% increase compared to last year. This figure, however, fell slightly short of the anticipated $21.49 million in revenue projected by analysts.

Looking ahead to the first quarter, Travelzoo anticipates that revenue growth will continue, although the rate of growth may not match that of 2023. Despite this, the company expects improvements in both the cash flow from operations and profitability.
