FX.co ★ Amazon And Huawei Resolve Patent Dispute

Amazon and Huawei have entered into a long-term cross-licensing patent agreement, thus settling the outstanding litigations between them, according to a statement by Huawei.

"Amazon values Huawei's international patent portfolio, their inventive contributions, and their participation in streamlining standard processes. Amazon also acknowledges Huawei's efforts to license its patents to organizations such as Amazon, who consistently use industry technical norms to develop innovative products and services for their clientele," said Scott Hayden, Amazon's Vice President of Intellectual Property.
