FX.co ★ IFF To Sell Pharma Solutions To Roquette For $2.85 Bln

International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (IFF), has publicly announced a definitive sale agreement with Roquette, a French-based company, for its Pharma Solutions business unit. The transaction, valued at an enterprise amount of up to $2.85 billion, is expected to be finalized in the first half of 2025.

The value of this deal represents an enterprise value to EBITDA multiple of roughly 13 times.

IFF anticipates that the alliance with Roquette will fuel the next growth phase of Pharma Solutions.

Currently, Pharma Solutions operates around 10 global research, development, and production sites. They employ roughly 1100 people and generated an estimated revenue of $1 billion in 2023.
