On Thursday, healthcare giant Novo Nordisk announced their total dividend for the fiscal year of 2023 would amount to 9.40 Danish kroners per share. The final dividend payout is slated for March 2024.

At the annual general meeting, the company declared their satisfaction with their performance throughout 2023, dubbing it an exceptional year for Novo Nordisk in terms of innovation, growth, value creation and overall impact.

In after-hours trading, Novo Nordisk's shares were observed trading at $130 on the New York Stock Exchange, marking a minor increase of 0.13 percent.
