The Treasury Department has recently announced the details of the upcoming auctions of two-year, five-year, and seven-year notes for this month. According to the announcement, the Treasury intends to auction off $66 billion in two-year notes, $67 billion in five-year notes, and $43 billion in seven-year notes.
The outcomes of the two-year note auction are set to be revealed next Monday, followed by the five-year note auction results next Tuesday, and the seven-year note auction results next Wednesday. On a similar note, last month the Treasury sold $63 billion worth of two-year notes, $64 billion of five-year notes, and $42 billion of seven-year notes.
It's important to note that the two-year and five-year note auctions drew less than average interest. Conversely, the seven-year note auction experienced higher than average demand.
