Japan Airlines To Introduce 42 Aircraft From Boeing, Airbus To Expand International Network

Japan Airlines Co., Ltd. revealed on Thursday that it will procure 21 Airbus A350-900 aircraft from Airbus, alongside 11 A321neo aircraft, and 10 Boeing 787-9 aircraft from Boeing Company. This move is meant to strengthen the airline's international influence, particularly in North America, Asia, and India.

This extensive update to their fleet will occur over an estimated span of six years, starting in 2027. The airline also expressed intent to grow its international routes by increasing the combined supply capacity of both full-service and low-cost carriers by approximately 1.4 times.

Presently, Japan Airlines' shares are trading at $9.55, experiencing a 0.74 percent increase on the Other OTC.
