FX.co ★ European Economic News Preview: UK GDP Data Due

On Wednesday, the UK releases critical monthly GDP, industrial production, and foreign trade figures, while Germany's final inflation data also garners significant attention.

At 2:00 am ET, the Office for National Statistics will publish the UK's monthly GDP, industrial production, and foreign trade statistics. Analysts predict that the gross domestic product will remain unchanged in April, following a 0.4 percent increase in March. The visible trade deficit for April is expected to be GBP 14.2 billion, compared to GBP 13.9 billion in March.

Concurrently, Destatis will release Germany's final inflation data for May. Consumer price inflation is anticipated to reach 2.4 percent, up from 2.2 percent in April, consistent with preliminary estimates.

GDP data from Norway is also scheduled for release.

At 6:00 am ET, the National Institute of Economic and Social Research will publish its UK monthly GDP tracker.
