Poland Inflation Rises Slightly To 2.6%

Poland's consumer price inflation rose for the second consecutive month in June, reaching its highest level in four months, according to preliminary data released by Statistics Poland on Friday.

The consumer price index increased by 2.6% year-over-year in June, a slight uptick from the 2.5% rise observed in May.

Prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages saw an annual growth of 2.5% in June, while utility costs declined by 1.6%.

The data also indicated that fuel expenses for personal transport equipment rose by 1.6%.

On a monthly basis, consumer prices inched up by 0.1% in June.
